Ericson & Saether AB was founded by Magnus Ericson and Hans-Jörgen Saether in 1990. Both with many years experience of the shoe business. In fact, Magnus, the fifth generation in his family working with shoes. Hans Jörgen, the fourth generation.
Before starting E&S they worked together in the Bata Shoe Organization for several years. They decided to start up on their own when Bata closed its business in Sweden. At that time brand thinking began to become more noticeable in the shoe sector. Their visionary initiative and wide contact network gave Ericson & Saether the niche required to grow into a strong footwear company.
